Licenses and Allowed Use

All paid purchases from The SVG Stop include a CRAFTERS COMMERCIAL USE LICENSE. The terms of use for this license is outlined below.

The Crafters Commercial Use License may be used for PERSONAL and SMALL BUSINESS items. You may produce and sell items that you create yourself with this license.

If you would like to use a 3rd party printing service (such as printful) or sell on print on demand sites (such as zazzle, redbubble, etc.), you will need to purchase a PROFESSIONAL LICENSE for each item. (see PRO LICENSE terms of use here)

Terms of Use for Crafters Commercial Use License:

Allowed Use for Physical Items:

  • You may use completed or partial SVG Stop design items for your personal & small business use in items that you create yourself.
  • You may alter the designs size, colors, layers, etc. to better suit your needs.
  • You may make PHYSICAL items to sell at craft show, to local customers, on your website, etc
  • You may print and sell transfers, decals, & waterslides as long as you are the one doing the printing. If someone else is printing these for you, you will need to purchase the Professional License.

Allowed Use for Digital Items:

  • You may use the DESIGN ELEMENTS, BACKGROUNDS, FONTS, ALPHA PACKS, & DIGITAL PAPERS to create your own digital designs.
  • If selling digital designs, you must include at least 50% other design elements to create a brand new design. You can not sell these items in their original format or in a manner that the original element could be extracted from your design.
  • You can not use these elements to duplicate one of my completed designs, you must come up with your own new design.
  • Fonts & Alpha packs can not be resold in a digital format. However, you can use them to create words and phrases. You can not include ALL or most of the letters in one design (such as an ABC sign like you see in classrooms or nurseries).
  • All digital designs must be flattened into a PNG or JPG file so that the original design or letters can not be extracted. 

Not Allowed:

  • You may not share, distribute, resale, transfer, or copy any designs (free or purchased)
  • You may not give away our designs as freebies. (instead share the link to the product page)
  • You may not use the designs as a trademark, service mark, or any registered logo. Personal logos are ok, as long as you do not intend on registering the artwork.
  • You may not claim artwork as your own. All designs and elements are copyrighted by me, 
  • You may not use for mass production products
  • You may not use 3rd party printers or print on demand websites.
  • You may not digitize designs for resell in embroidery software programs.

 

Terms of Use for Professional License:

Professional License Allowed Use:

With the Pro License, you will have the same benefits as the Crafters Commercial Use license along with the following extras:

  • You may digitize and sell embroidery design products in a digital format.Digital files can only be resold in embroidery formats such as PES, XXX, HUS, DST, etc. You CAN NOT resell in the original formats including SVG, EPS, DXF, PNG, or JPG
  • You may use on print on demand sites such as printful, zazzle, etc.
  • You may use 3rd party printing companies to produce transfers, decals, and waterslides.

Professional License restrictions:

  • You may not share, distribute, resale, transfer, or copy any designs (free or purchased)
  • You may not give away our designs as freebies. (instead share the link to the product page)
  • You may not use the designs as a trademark, service mark, or any registered logo. Personal logos are ok, as long as you do not intend on registering the artwork.
